Why it's important to have a good profile

The Find a Social Worker online directory is a search tool making it easier to find and access social work services in Australia.

In this directory you will find AASW members and practices who have elected to make their details available to the public.

Members of the public and health service providers such as GPs can use the directory to search for social workers by name, location or services offered.

That’s why it is important that you update your Individual and Practice Listings with as much information as you can! Updating your listing with all your details can take time, but it is worth it.

It will make it easier for the public and GPs find your services and understand what you provide. From here, they can easily contact your practice and make enquiries, or leave you a message via the AASW contact form.

The more detailed and accurate your profile listing is, the easier it is for the public to understand what services you provide, making it more likely for you to receive enquiries.
